Our History

Established in 1983, Methow Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization based in Twisp, WA.

Methow Arts operates through an array of programs in Arts Education, Promotion of the Arts, Leadership, Public Art & a year-round performance series for schools & its community.

Through arts education, performance, & leadership, we work to ensure that the Arts are accessible & central to the daily lives of residents in rural communities in Washington State.

Methow Arts is a 36 year-old, nationally-recognized organization focused on place-based action & collaboration through the arts.

With support from our community, Methow Arts has helped build a vibrant & healthy community, ensuring the arts are a cornerstone of life Okanogan County.

    Methow Arts is looking for a passionate & creative Education Program Manager to lead our county-wide arts education programs!

    Work with schools, artists, & communities to bring meaningful, inclusive art experiences to youth across Okanogan County.

    Location: Twisp, WA
    Hours: 20–30 hrs/week
    Pay: $28–$30/hr + benefits

  • Methow Arts Summer Camps

    Explore your creativity in these camps led by the artists & writers of Methow Arts.


    Each week is themed around a different medium of expression:

    Natural Dyes & Textiles | Clay & Sculpture | Printmaking | Poetry & Creative Writing

    In addition to 4 weeks of programming for younger students, we’re also offering a week-long half-day high school & middle school writing workshop.
